About Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a disease in which abnormal breast cells grow out of control and form tumours. If left unchecked, the tumours can spread throughout the body and become fatal.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide and number one cancer killer of Malaysian women.


Breast Cancer Numbers
Regardless of gender, breast cancer contributed to 17.6% of all new cancer cases diagnosed in 2017-2021.
Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among females (38.9%).
1 in 23 women is at risk of developing breast cancer.
